Dave, Jenny, Kelly, Danielle & family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved Chantal. She was a beautiful person. I remember visiting your camp many times, many years ago and her warmth and love of life. Hugs to you all!

This is so sad for our city. There should of been a solution before it came to this.
Think of young families, there are not enough day care, summer camps, swimming facilities and gymnastics in our city.
Where will social agencies take clients for a positive experience, mental and physical health?
What about seniors on a limited income who go to the Y for socialization, recreation and physical activity that helps both their mental and physical health.
Teens and young adults have always benefitted greatly from the Y facilities, it keeps them off the streets and promotes a healthy lifestyle.
I can't believe there was not a solution to this problem, charge everyone an extra 15%, it's still a good price. I have seen the numbers growing the last year in the women's fitness classes and the fitness centre, also pickleball has brought in a lot of new members.

What a beautiful tribute to Deb. Rick so sorry for your loss, I'm glad you were able to stay with Debbi last month and had that time together especially after losing dear David. Pam you were wonderful to your Aunt Deb and with her till the end. Her friend Sue, know how much she appreciated your help always, you were a great friend.
Debbi and I stayed very close considering we lived in different cities, work took me to Toronto often and we spent time together every time I was there and every visit home. I never called Deb unless I had a couple free hours because we would chat that long about everything and always reminisce about something that made us laugh or smile. Debbi was a loyal friend, a great conversationalist and a lot of fun, I am so lucky to have had her in my life for 66 years. Rest in Peace my friend.

I work in the Roberta Bondar building and walk often at lunch. Never, ever do I see police in the area. There should be police presence on Queen and the boardwalk all day, every day and also other areas of our city that need monitoring. Keep our citizens SAFE!
