With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Anna Silveri. We are comforted in knowing she is no longer in pain and is reunited with her beloved husband of 51 years Ermando. Treasured mother of Linda Fleming (Bruce) and Mirella Zanatta (Ian Deakin) of London Ontario. Cherished Nonna of Lindsay and Andrew Zanatta. Dear sister of the late Fernando (late Anita), Antonio (Edvege), late Giovanni (late Maria), the late Francesco (Piera), late Fidia (late Dioniso) and Gino (Lorraine). Special sister-in-law of the late Antonio (late Idea), late Sabatino (late Ada), late Dea (late Antonio), the late Elzia (Gaetano) and Orlaide (late Antonio). Lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mom was an avid seamstress and cook.  She was a stay-at-home mom for years before taking a part-time job and eventually working full time as a stylist. She attended St. Gregory's Parish in Sault Ste. Marie and then St. George’s in London where she moved to be closer to her family. Anna was also a long-time member of the Catholic Women's League.  She loved to sew and combined with her eye and attention to detail created beautiful clothing and decor. She loved to entertain and could present a five-course meal with little to no notice. She was known for her thoughtfulness, her many talents, and her kind and compassionate spirit.

We would like to sincerely thank Dr. Elena Matusa, VON nurses Joyson and Dillip and the countless number of compassionate nurses and PSW’s (especially Eiko) who took wonderful care of mom.

Friends and family are invited to St. George Parish, 1164 Commissioners Road W in London, Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 11:00 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by a reception. Friends are invited to view the service online starting at 12 noon.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Sault Ste. Marie on Friday, November 24, 2023, at 11 am.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the VON and St. Elizabeth would be greatly appreciated.

Arrangements entrusted to John T. Donohue Funeral Home
