Thirteen years ago today my dear Mother Myrtle Jean passed away. She was my best friend, traveling partner and gave reality checks whenever I needed them. Most of all I miss her. I will shed tears today but I will also smile when I think of the many special memories we shared. I will keep our tradition alive tonight and will have a Crown Royal nightcap. Cheers Mom.
