Passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, January 13, 2025 at the age of 87.
Beloved husband of the late Sharon Heather Martineau (nee Young). He will be lovingly remembered by his children Cindy and Jeff (Lori); Grandchildren, Jordan (Bill), Kelan (Marjorie), Connor (Tory), Cameron (Amanda), and Great Grandchildren, Braeden, Annelle, Charlie, Wesson, Lucy and Naia, as well as his extended family, Jerry and Laura (JP, Jaret, Tyler and Mia), and Wilma and Don. Special friend of Jim and Sharla Charette.
A special thank you to the staff and management of Pathways Retirement Home for their care and compassion shown to Lyle over the years.
At Lyle's request, no services will be held and cremation has taken place. He has been laid to rest with his wife Sharon. Memorial contributions payable by cheque or online to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation Complex Continuing Care Fund or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
