Hopefully not another gateway site. Doesn’t the city still own that property too after 15+ years and still empty? No big push to get that developed because it’s not prime waterfront property…

Maybe they can all pitch in and cover the cost of my property tax increase when they raise our property taxes to cover the cost of buying and demolishing these buildings.

Put it to a referendum. Let the people decide whether they should waste $4.75 million of our tax money on buying these properties back. Demolition and abatement will cost millions more.

Let’s do a traffic study at that intersection and cover the lights to see how many accidents happen there….

There are other bigger priorities in this city rather than parking and conducting traffic studies to remove lights. How about moving the methadone clinics off of Queen street and moving them back to Albert or Wellington instead of on Queen where we are trying to revitalize…

I’m sure we will soon see more back pedalling just like when the green belt enraged people. Looks like more of the same, more back room wheeling and dealing by this government. I’m sure the next step back will be regarding the Ontario Science Centre. Anyone else see a pattern happening here?

This government is always back peddling. Bill 124, healthcare crisis, green belt, Ontario Science Centre just to name a few. Becoming disillusioned with our traditional parties. They have all forgotten that they are elected to represent the interests of their constituents instead of private interests close to the premiers office.

So saddened to hear of Dan’s passing. Fondly remembering the memories from when we were kids. Another life gone much too soon. My condolences to his family.

My deepest condolences to Don’s family. Years ago, when my life was at a crossroad, Don helped me to set in motion a return to school to become a teacher. That move changed my life. I am forever grateful for Don’s assistance. Rest in peace.
Peter
