Since Soo college increased there avaiation program and bought more planes the amount of small planes flying over head has gotten out of hand. I live in Searchmont to get away from the noise but find there planes are constantly flying over head. I can watch there red and white plane go by, then the blue one. As soon as the blue one goes by, then the red and white one is coming back. Non stop, all summer long.

Yes, a couple years ago it did happen! At approximately 4pm we were notified via edsby that some of the busses would not be returning on time. Busses would be postponed until deemed safe and you could either wait or collect your kids yourself. It was the worst feeling ever- we are half an hour away -now driving into a terrible storm, seeing people who didnt get the memo out there waiting ( afraid to stop in case we get stuck) and feeling sorry for the kids who are stranded. They ended up feeding them supper and eventually returning the few whose guardians couldn’t make it. That is why they cancel for the whole day. But I still keep mine home every time there is a severe weather alert because I don’t ever want to live that again.

People need to control themselves with the fear mongering and stop buying out all the hand sanitizer or more toilet paper than they could reasonably use in a few weeks. Be considerate of others in the community who cant afford or physically manage a stock pile. Right now they cant even find a roll in the stores. Im ashamed of the sault acting like its the zombie apocalypse.

Route 4 should be the only option. Follow the existing power line that goes straight from point A to B.
Why would they cut a new right away threw prime Algoma forest? Thats prime Moose habitat and their winter herding grounds.
