Mom,
26 years ago today our worlds changed forever.
We watched you battle a valiant fight with so much dignity and strength.
We begged God to spare your life.
We felt so angry when He took you, but we understand why. You were selfless and had the biggest heart in the world. Your smile lit up the room and your laugh was so full of life! We can still hear that laugh in our heads.
You were the closest thing on Earth to an angel and God wanted you home.
You fought with everything for us.
Never a complaint to be heard despite the pain you endured. You still put everyone else before you and worried so much about how we would all cope without you.
We are coping because of the strength you and Daddy showed us and the comfort knowing you are together again.
It does not lessen how much we grieve and long for your presence here on earth but we believe in our hearts that one day we will be together again.
Until then, you and Daddy watch over and protect us from your heavenly perch.
