In memoriam of Elmar Timusk, who found peace on March 11, 2021. Your loving wife, Lilli, and devoted daughters, Laura and Ingrid, miss you so much, as do your closest friends and neighbours.
He was taken from us too soon, but during his life span Elmar had aspirations. Some, because of time lacking, were left unattended; though others proudly accomplished. Forty years ago, he helped a construction crew build his family home on Lake Superior, in the midst of nature, where he stayed and flourished until his death. His love of boats inspired him to spend all of his spare time constructing his sailboat from start to finish until he could finally launch it into the water and take all his loved ones sailing. Many adventures were had!
When he wasn’t admiring water, his thoughts would roam to other boats that he might build or what else might be built on his land.
Elmar assumed the role of host with open arms to family and friends who came to gather at his home to celebrate occasions, such as Christmas or birthdays.
Yes – Elmar kept mostly to himself – but he always let his innermost thoughts and feelings be known to his family and dearest friend, Ted.
First and foremost, Elmar was a loving and devoted husband, father, and friend. We all miss you, immensely.
