October 10, 2023, our lives changed forever! Family and friends were devastated at the news you were never coming home, hearts shattered at the loss of a huge piece to so many lives had been taken from us.
A year of living in this nightmare, still hoping I will wake up and it will all be over and you will be home where you should be. A year of staring at the door waiting for you to walk through it. A year of missing your voice, hearing your laugh. A year of struggles daily just to keep it together and push one foot infront of the other. It's been the longest, most painful and challenging year of our lives.
Bud the way you lit up and room when you walked in, with your contagious smile. The way you cared whole heartedly for so many in your life. The way you would do anything to help anyone in need, even complete strangers you would never see go without. You were one of a kindest, most caring and loving people i have ever known, and I couldnt be prouder to be your mom. An amazing son, loving father, protective brother, caring uncle, giving friend, courageous hero, is only a few ways to explain who you were to those that knew you.
