Emergency crews responded to a roof collapse at the Tarentorus Sports Club on Wednesday.
Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services responded to 0-100 block of Avery Road shortly before 12:30 p.m., public education officer Aaron Gravelle said in an email to SooToday Wednesday afternoon.
Sault Ste. Marie Police Service, PUC Services, Enbridge Gas and paramedics also attended the scene.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
Gravelle confirmed damage to the building was not caused by an explosion, contrary to speculation on social media.
