And this vast majority can continue to keep tabs and score of the deaths, fires, overdoses, police resources, paramedic resources, fire department resources, social services resources, thefts, robberies, incidents of trespassing, assaults, homicides, and the number of dire statistics that Sault Ste. Marie continues to lead other communities in. How sad that so many dig in their heals, as if celebrating your collective beliefs, without even being open to the consideration of another, more effective way. This is the ultimate in unwavering social apathy.

Hi Bill, Original letter writer here. Please share how many people you have assisted to move from homelessness to housed in the last three years? Resistance continues to come from those who are not working on solutions. Your job security comment is ignorant of the fact that I have volunteered and used my own personal funds, with private sponsors and volunteers, to take action on addressing this crisis. Why do so many naysayers resist things that actually work? Do we really want to turn this crisis around, or no? We continue to waste time debating, while more people die, when solutions are available, but continue to be resisted by those who have done nothing but spew on a keyboard. This community will not change by people arguing out of ignorance. What we are doing, as a community is not working; just look around. If you want change, please tell me what action you have taken that has worked? Please, let's compare notes, Bill.

Also, why hasn't it been put on the open real estate market, for sale? If a developer wants the prime property to build on, why does the city need to get in the middle of it? Then, if it doesn't sell on the open market, proceed with a purchase, just above what the owner has into it.
