You used to have to prove that you had insurance when you renewed your plates. I feel this change would make it easier for people to drive without insurance. My understanding is that if you cancel your insurance then that information goes into a database that the police have access to. But if a driver is not doing anything wrong, he could still get away with driving without insurance, until he gets in an accident. If he causes the accident, who's going to pay for my damage, my injuries, etc.?

By the way too, my doctor passed away in 2018 and my wife and I put our names in at Health Care Connect. Since then I have been through two rounds of cancer and I still don't have a doctor. The situation is a joke and something needs to be done....fast.

I think that is a very good idea ! Whatever we can do to "sweeten the pot" and attract new doctors. As for cdn.chick comment, as an example.....you bring in say 5 doctors every year. If the first 5 leave then you still have 20 doctors starting year 6....know what I mean?

Wynken is exactly right. The reason why they want to spend millions of dollars on this street extension is to reduce the amount of traffic at the Pleasant/Pine intersection. It is often difficult to make a left turn from Pleasant onto Pine. Making it a 3-way stop would absolutely solve the problem. Spend the millions on resurfacing other streets. The potholes are getting worse every year !

Overall I think Ford has done a good job, however he has promoted the idea that it's okay to not pay your rent. I am very angered by this. Does he think that everyone who has a rental property is rich? On the contrary, there are many people, many who are seniors, whose only source of income comes from the rent they receive. The government has put a lot of relief programs in place, so people should be able to pay their rent....if not pay most of it. Ford has no business telling people not to pay what they owe!

Even better would be a giant catapult. On the tv show Northern Exposure they catapulted a piano. It was very humourous.
