Very sad to see this. Jack was one of my favorite prof's. I was fortunate enough to tour his pottery studio and talk to him not too long ago. He was a kind man with an infectious positive energy. My condolences to all who knew and loved him.

'Simply put', they are willing to give us ongoing increases instead of making any effort to find ways to freeze or reduce taxes or find ways to increase commercial and industrial growth in SSM. We need and deserve better.

Young people caring enough to help and volunteering time to raise money for people who are struggling in their community. I honestly don't understand how this is anything but a positive thing. This is an awareness and fundraising event. The last time the event ran it raised $1000's to help the soup kitchen program. Why would anyone throw shade on this? SMH What a sad thing that people are hurting so much they need to lash out at everything and anything; even when it's good. The Soup Kitchen helps so many; show your support. Instead of complaining get involved and 'be the change'

Ski-Dude is right. The petition should be opened up to everyone living on the great lakes. Any pollution from here will be shared down river; everybody's back yard.

I was very fortunate to have Mr. Ross as my grade 7 teacher 35 years ago at Northern Heights. He was a caring, kind, funny, and respectable man. Very sorry for your loss. Scott McLeod
