WOZNY, JOHN

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Wozny in his 66th year.  Father of Leah and Stephen, of Cambridge, Ontario.  Son of the late Michael and Trudy Wozny.  John will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his many family and friends.  His spirit will always be remembered by his brothers Bill, Michael and Pat, and sisters, Brenda, Teresa, Betty and many nieces and nephews.  John always spoke fondly of his years as a student and football player at St. Mary's College.  After graduation, John continued his education, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto and teaching certificate.  John's interest in photography led him to a second career with the Kitchener - Waterloo Police, and the Ontario Provincial Police, in forensic studies, then Ministry of Transportation where he retired in 2002 .  John loved the outdoors, especially fishing, canoeing, riding his motorcycle, campfires and being in out in nature with his family and friends, (The eagle has landed!).   Friends may call at O'Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home, corner of Cathcart and St. James Sts., Saturday May 12, 2012, from 12:00p.m. until 2:00p.m., Funeral Service at 2:00p.m., with Father Pat Woods officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Human Society would be appreciated.
