WEIR, Linda (nee Long)

(March 4, 1945 – June 29, 2016) – Passed suddenly at the Sault Area Hospital surrounded by her children; Shirlene Weir, Melinda “Mindy” Billiot and Mac Weir (Jane), her grandchildren; Vanessa Weir, Josh Moore, Shelby Moore, Kate-Lynn Weir and her siblings Harold Long (Mary), Shirley Vine, Barbara Meyers (Bob), Elgin Long (Marie), Robert “Slim” Long (Sonja) and the late Ted Long.  Wife of the late Frank Weir.  Mother of the late Tammy Lynn and the late James. She peacefully passed on their 53rd wedding anniversary.  She was sister-in-law to the late Chuck Weir (Wendy), late Harvey Weir (Pauline), late Edna Belkosky (Lorne), late Susie July (Gary), late Pam Weir, Linda Garrett (Conley) and Jo-Anne St. Jules.  She was aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Her kind soul loved everyone and everyone loved her. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Sunday, July 3, 2016 from 6 – 9 pm.  Funeral service from the chapel on Monday, July 4, 2016 at 11 am.  Mr. Phil Bailey officiating.  Memorial contributions to the Kidney Foundation or to the SAH Critical Care Fund would be greatly appreciated.
