Peacefully entered into the presence of the Lord at the Blind River District Health Centre on Sunday, October 20, 2013, with his family by his side at the age of 81. The unique and amazing husband and best friend of Helen (nee Stewart). Cherished father of Rick McLeod and Lisa Taylor. Special Grandpa of Leslie, James, Nathan and Naomi. Great grandfather of 3. Brother of Donelda Campbell (Calvin), Jack (Edna), Glenn (Audrey), Edith Norbo (Sam), Helen Lawrence (Marshall) and Howard. Predeceased by his sister Margaret. Special brother-in-law of Shirley and Doris Stewart (late Gerald). Adored by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and again on Thursday, October 24, 2013 from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Funeral service to be held in the chapel at 11 am. Rev. Rustin Hildebrand officiating. Interment Aberdeen Cemetery at 2:30 pm on Thursday, October 24, 2013. Memorial contributions to the Galilean Bible Camp or Immanual Baptist Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
