Walter 'Skippy' Chisholm Jr

My darling Skippy, it's now 19 years you were called home to our heavenly father, But to me, it just seems like yesterday of course. I guess it's because our memories are real as we think of our loved ones more and more.Thank you lord jesus for giving us all the greatest gift of our memories. I also remember honey what you said to me, I may be leaving you, but my love stays with you forever my darling. The power of love that sweeps you over is amazing. Well, Skippy I have lots to tell you this year. Wayne, Tammy, Shane and Channa are all doing fine and are busy in their life with their families and work. The grandchildren are doing great also, they all take very good care of me. The grandchildren still talk about the Papa star each time they look up into heaven. Even the boys who are now 17, 24, 26 and 30, which is nice to hear how they still comment on the Papa star. They all love their Papa so much. Well, honey it's time for camping again at Mark's Bay. Thank you to my brother Mark and my sister-in-law, Mary, for 15 years of the wonderful camping days. I started in January packing things because it's harder Now, as we get older to remember what we need to pack. As you know, fellow friends, we can't remember everything at once. When you're packing for 6 months, Also its too costly all at one time with the prices of things today, so we do it slowly and it all comes together to have a fun holiday. Skippy I can't wait to play washer toss with my friends and later on my sister In-law, Mary is having me over to play washer toss at her house. They love it also, we have 3 tournaments all summer and it's so much fun when everyone gets together. We have music and supper in the evening and a little dance. You know, honey when I see couples dance I remember how we loved to dance you would get me up especially the waltz and dip me back and give me a kiss and say I love you honey Bunny and I just melted in your arms. I love being married to you my darling Skippy, even with the ups and downs of married life We always work things out because our love was so strong for each other. Well, Skippy, it's now the middle of summer and I'm having a wonderful time with my family and friends. So I decided to put on like we used to do together  "Skips Bistro" for my sister Sandy and Debbie and my niece Katherine I decorated the table for fine dining and then I changed into different outfits, First I was Angella, the Maitre D and I would meet them at the door and then I was Norella the cook and then Fi Fi the server., Just like you did Skippy when you and I did it all together, I wanted to do it again for my sisters and they loved it. We had so much fun and great food. I remember when we did it for Mark and Mary,  my brother loved turkey dinners so we invited them to Skip's Bistro and it was so funny when they were on their way there Mary said to Mark when you get there for goodness sake, don't drink out of the finger bowl, Of course Mark didn't know what a finger bowl was so we laughed so much. Sorry, Mark I had to tell that story love ya. Haha, we had a lot of fun doing that.  It's now the end of summer and I'll be getting ready to go home and start my Christmas baking soon. You know, Skippy I love cooking and baking and you loved eating it also haha. Well my fellow friends, I guess I'd better sign off for now because Skippy always said I could write a book haha. Sometimes we get carried away but I just wanted to tell my beloved husband and fellow friends what I'm doing in my life. Mark and Mary, I just wanted to thank you again for 15 wonderful years camping at mark's Bay campground. I've met so many beautiful friends and I love them all so much. God willing I'll be back next year for more fun. I thank you fellow friends for taking the time reading my Memoriam, over the the years you really have become my special friends. God bless you all.
