The gates to heaven opened and a very special angel entered. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Anita on September 8, 2024. She is now at peace and in the arms of her loving parents Hughie Lutes and Jessie Perry-Lutes.
Fondly remembered by her siblings Derek, Cathy, Jennifer, Marie and Terri. Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Anita was a precious member of her family. She brought love, laughter and adventure to all. She was a character for sure and is well remembered by the countless relatives and family friends she met over the years. She enjoyed swimming in the backyard pool and loved music.
Her parents were devoted to her and took loving care of her until their passing.
Thank you to the countless medical team and support workers who continued in her care.
We will forever carry her in our hearts and memories.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Church on Monday September 16, 2024 (293 St Georges Avenue East) at 10am with Father Michael Hayes officiating. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
