It was 21 years ago on Christmas Day,
I knew you would no longer be able to stay.
Your pain was so bad and too difficult to see,
I prayed to god to finally set you free.
Sometimes I laugh, and sometimes I cry,
I knew that would not be our final goodbye.
There will be a time again when we will be able to embrace,
And then I will never take my eyes off your sweet loving face.
Missing you so much dad, always in my mind and in my ♥️ heart.
