Loving Wife and best friend of Aime. Her beloved children Marc (Francine) and Carole (Kris). Big sister of Cindy Manitowabi (Alfred Gerner), Debbie Caibaiosai (late Don) and the late Michael Manitowabi.
Predeceased by her parents Eugene Manitowabi of Blind River and Christine Warner of Germany.
Grandmother of Cindy, Jessica (Jesse), Jamie (Stefanie), and Ethan. Great Grandmother of Tessa, Trentin, Trey, Landen and Grayson.
Special Aunt of Barbara (Steve), Christine (Justin), late Ashley, Melissa (Jonathan), Timmy, Rick, and Mike (Gen). Great Aunt of Liam, Zack, Dillan, late Dallas, and Derek.
More than anything, Kathy enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends. She loved her romance novels, playing Bingo, camping at Ojibway Park, her pet cats and became an avid Greyhounds Fan when first introduced by her sister Cindy, in 2016.
She was a long-time employee of Tendercare/Mapleview where she created many long-lasting friendships but cherished her special connection with Marisa.
A very special thank you to the staff at ARCH for making her last days comfortable, her Home Care RPN Theresa who has been her nurse since the beginning. You were not only her nurse but also her friend. A huge thank you to Dr. Nikki Apostle for her exceptional care and dedication.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 6th, 2024, at the Moose Lodge from 1pm - 4pm.
