Pauline's Place 50/50 draw winner takes home $680

Pauline's Place has announced the winner of its "Give Back, Win Big" 50/50 draw.

After an exciting round of ticket sales and community support, John Collar emerged as the lucky winner, taking home a prize of $683, Pauline's Place said in a news release.

"We extend our heartfelt congratulations to John Collar and express our gratitude to everyone who participated in our fundraising event," said Anne Penney, executive director at Pauline's Place.

"Your generosity enables us to continue our mission of raising public awareness about one of the most pressing issues in our community - homelessness.”

Pauline's Place extended its thanks to all participants and said it looked forward to future opportunities to engage with the community.

It said the mission at Pauline’s Place is to provide access to safe, affordable housing through the provision of emergency and short-term housing, referral and outreach services.

Pauline's Place said it assists and supports its clients to make the transition to becoming stable and active members of the community.
