The Centre for Social Justice and Good Works (The ‘Centre’) is excited to announce that there will be a bike draw and pizza party on June 9, 2018 for the “I Love to Move” program, which is the last session for the 2017/18 school term.
The Centre, in partnership with Canadian Tire's Jumpstart program, will be giving away four bikes to four lucky participants of the recreation program. The Bike Draw will be held at our four locations throughout the city:
The TECH (130 Wellington Street E) – 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Holy Family Catholic School (42 Rushmere Drive) – 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Boreal (Formerly Rosedale Public School) (90 Chapple Avenue) – 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Queen Elizabeth Public School (139 Elizabeth Street) – 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
‘I Love To Move’ is a free recreation program for children between the ages of 6 – 13. For July and August, the program will run on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Locations to be announced soon.
Canadian Tire’s Jumpstart Organization has been a tremendous supporter of the ‘I Love To Move’ recreation program, and plays a critical role in providing funding to support the children and help make positive lasting impacts on our youth. The Centre would like to thank Canadian Tire Jumpstart, Sault Police Services, the YMCA, and our other partners for their continued support.
We welcome all participants and volunteers to the ‘I Love To Move’ free recreation program of the school year, and participate in sports, fun games, recreational activities, and refreshments. All drop-ins are welcome at the four locations.
