Helping Hands, a leading local non-profit organization, is excited to announce the 'Helping Hands BBQ,' a day of fun, food, and camaraderie, taking place on Saturday, May 13, from noon to 4 p.m. at 346 Wellington Street West, Sault Ste Marie.
The event, which aims to bring the community together, will feature a free barbecue sponsored by M&M Meats, The Wholesale Club, and Tim Horton's, face painting, live music, free hair cuts from Trevisanut's Barbershop, a volunteer sign-up booth, information about Helping Hands, and a guided tour of the facilities.
Wendy Gutchar, president of Helping Hands, emphasizes the importance of this event. "The Helping Hands BBQ Saturday is more than just a fun community gathering. It's an opportunity for us to give back to the community that supports us and to share the mission and vision of Helping Hands," she said. "We're excited to offer a day where families can enjoy good food, and great music, and learn more about how they can get involved with our organization."
Robert Peace, a Board member of Helping Hands, also expressed his enthusiasm for the event. "We are always eager to meet the people whose lives we touch and those who want to help us make a difference. This BBQ event is the perfect way to do just that."
The event promises to be a fun-filled day for the entire family. Kids will enjoy face painting and everyone will appreciate the good vibes brought by the live music. Wendy Gutchar further commented, "At Helping Hands, we believe that building strong relationships in our community is key to making a lasting impact. We want this event to be a chance for people to connect, with our team, and with the cause we are so passionate about."
Helping Hands invites everyone in the Sault Ste Marie community to join this free event on May 13. Come enjoy a delicious barbecue, lively music, and fun activities, and learn more about how Helping Hands is making a difference in your community.
