The Sault Symphony Orchestra is pleased announce audition dates for the upcoming musical production of ‘Hello,Dolly!’

Directed by Timothy Murphy (The Sound of Music, The Wizard of Oz) and Produced by Valerie Pluss, Hello, Dolly! runs February 26 - March 1, 2015 at the Community Theatre Centre.

Tryouts for Hello, Dolly! run over four days starting Wednesday, September 24 at the Trixie Hardy Rehearsal Hall at the Community Theatre Centre.

Supporting female role tryouts are Wednesday (September 24) at 7 p.m. and male auditions follow Thursday (September 25) at 7 p.m.

Tryouts for Dolly run at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday (September 27) and callbacks are Sunday (September 28) at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Hello, Dolly! made its Broadway debut in 1964.

Three revivals followed in 1975, 1978 and 1995.

Musical numbers include It Takes a Woman, Before the Parade Passes By and It Only Takes a Moment.

The Sault Symphony Association, now celebrating its 42nd season in the community, is a non-profit organization that strives to provide Sault Ste. Marie and the surrounding area with the finest quality musical performances.

Holding several concerts every year, the Sault Symphony Orchestra, led by musical director and conductor John Wilkinson, is a volunteer orchestra comprised of many of the most talented and trained musicians in the Algoma District and Michigan’s Eastern Upper Peninsula.
