The Greyhounds' winless skid continued Sunday night at Memorial Gardens with a 7-4 defeat at the hands of the Kingston Frontenacs.
The Fronts were coming off a 10-8 win against Windsor Friday night and showed spark as well as offensive flair in the game.
With defenceman Trevor Daley in the line-up, the Greyhounds were looking to snap a six-game winless skid that has saw the team fall to fifth in the OHL's West Division.
The Hounds put in a solid effort in the game, outshooting the Fronts 44-28 but the Greyhound goaltending couldn't put up the effort needed to lead the team to victory.
Jeff Weber got the start for the Hounds but gave up five goals and was pulled late in the second period in favour of Joey Biasucci, who gave up goals on his first two shots before settling in and finishing out the game.
Scoring for the Greyhounds were Trevor Daley, Matt Herneisen, Rob Hisey and Mike Melinko. Biasucci and Weber combined to stop 21 shots in the loss.
HOUND POUND: Winger Mike Moher, a fourth-round pick in 2001, is back with the Hounds.
Moher started the season playing Tier Two hockey in Peterborough but has joined the Greyhounds following the club's decision to put winger Dean Byvelds on waivers and the imminent trade of overage winger Troy Ilijow.
