WHITE PINES COLLEGIATE & VOCATIONAL SCHOOL
************************* Congratulations goes out to the White Pines 2008-09 yearbook class for placing second in a Canada-wide competition.
A certificate from the Canadian Yearbook Review Committee informed the school through Mr. Frank Calvano, classroom teacher of the second-place finish late last week.
Two members of the yearbook class are Taylor Nickle (left) and Danielle Secondi (right). Several hundred yearbooks from across the country are judged on the pictures, page layouts and overall quality of the book.
Students used InDesign software to complete a 100 percent digital yearbook.
