Sault Ste. Marie's Brigitte Acton was tied for 11th place after her first run during the ladies' slalom at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
She was one of three Canadian women to qualify for a second run at the event.
Maria Riesch of Germany held on to her first place standing with a total time of 1:42.89, earning her second gold medal of these Olympics.
Acton finished her second run with a time of 53.82 for a two-run combined total of 1:45.93.
Her time finishes her in 17th place overall.
Fellow Canadian Anna Goodman finished her second run with a time of 53.03 for a combined total of 1:46.04, and Erin Mielzynski of Canada had a second run time of 53.49, for a total of 1:46.09.
