Weekend Outlook: Gaps between the rain

Instability across the region will undoubtedly bring an ongoing chance of showers and isolated storms, but we should avoid any long-lasting rain

The forecast for this weekend might not be perfect, but it's better than it appears.  Instability across the region will undoubtedly bring an ongoing chance of showers and isolated storms, but we should avoid any long-lasting rain.  There could even be some sunny breaks between the shower activity.

We will see isolated showers on Friday, with a risk of a late-afternoon thunderstorm as temperatures reach 24°C.

Saturday brings morning fog followed by mostly cloudy skies. In the afternoon, scattered storms move across the region as daytime highs reach 25°C.

Sunday brings a mix of sun and clouds, with a northerly breeze keeping temperatures near 24°C. We should see more sunshine in the afternoon than first thing in the day.

A peek into next week shows a return to sunny skies and seasonal temperatures in the low to mid-20s
