Used bike sale benefits kids and local trails alike (5 photos)

One of the Sault’s cycling businesses had an incredibly charitable turnout this morning.

From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Velorution sold dozens of used kids bikes to a number of happy families in an effort to raise money for biking trails in the area.

By 9:30 a.m., nearly all 50 or so bikes they set aside for the sale had been purchased.

Velorution raised around $3,000 in the process, which will go towards supporting local trail developments and mountain bike trails in the Sault.
