Trip of the Month winner has chance to visit Newfoundland

Crime Stoppers of Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District conducted the Trip of the Month draw today at 5 p.m. and the big winner can elect to visit The Rock (and we don't mean actor Dwayne Johnson).

Prize #1, a trip to St. John’s, Newfoundland, valued at $3,800, a travel voucher for $3,420, or a cash prize of $3,040 was won by Paul Stewart with ticket #301.

The trip includes round-trip airfare for two on Air Canada from the Sault to St. John's via Toronto, five nights accomodation at the Hilton Garden Inn, a three-hour tour of the city and more. 

Prize #2 of $150 went to ticket #156 held by Brent McMillan. 

Prize #3, also for $150 went to Karen Gagnon and ticket #460.

"Congratulations to all the winners!" organizers said in a news release, adding, "Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets!"

The next draw is Sept. 16, 2024, at 5 p.m.
