************************* A substance believed to be ecstasy
At approximately 1:30 a.m. this morning, members of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service arrested an 18-year-old male for mischief and possession of a controlled substance.
It is alleged that the accused male attended at the Mac’s Mart Store on Gore Street and threw a rock through the window.
Police attended and arrested the accused.
It is further alleged that the accused was in possession of a substance believed to be ecstasy upon his arrest.
At the time of these offences the accused was also intoxicated and on probation with conditions to not consume alcohol.
The accused, Thomas Agawa, age 18, of no fixed address, is charged with one count of mischief, one count of possession of a controlled substance and four counts of breach of probation.
************************* Fingerprints
Yesterday afternoon members of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service arrested a 23-year-old male on a warrant.
It is alleged that Cleis Neveau, age 23, of 42 Bearl Street, Sudbury, failed to appear for identification purposes on January 19, 2010.
Mr. Neveau is charged with one count of failing to appear for identification.
************************* Break and enter
- A residence in the 400 block of Queen Street West was entered. Electronics were reported stolen.
************************* Theft
- Vehicles were entered in the 100 block of Conmee Avenue, the 100 block of Texas Avenue, the 100 block of Robin Street and the 500 block of Morrison Avenue. Electronics and auto parts were stolen.
- A bicycle was reported stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Old Garden River Road.
************************* Mischief
- A window was broken at a residence in the 100 block of Gladstone Avenue.
