Structure destroyed after fire in Garden River (6 photos)

The Garden River Fire Department remains on scene to monitor the situation

A single-storey structure on Highway 17B across the road from Moccasin Street has been destroyed after a fire broke out early this morning.

Light smoke could be seen coming from the structure’s remains around 9 a.m., but the flames appeared to be doused by then.

Garden River Fire Department crews remain at the scene and are monitoring the situation.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. No injuries have been reported.
