Snow squalls north of the Sault expected to end this morning

Snow Squall Warning in effect for:

  • Searchmont - Montreal River Harbour - Batchawana Bay

Snow squalls early this morning.

What: Additional snowfall accumulations 2 to 4 cm. Poor visibility in heavy snow and blowing snow.

When: Ending this morning.

Discussion: Lake effect snow squalls off Lake Superior are expected to weaken and move out over Lake Superior this morning. Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably; changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common.
