Consistent light rain and fog dominated the Jocelyn Township Snow Day activities Sunday but did not keep outdoor enthusiasts from enjoying the last day of January.

A recent snowfall left a measurable amount on the Jocelyn Township Centennial Ground, enough to attract sleds of all sorts to the toboggan hill.

With a temperature of 1 Celsius, members of the Jocelyn Township recreation committee saw what they described as possibly one of its highest turn out numbers.

The use of an umbrella was not out of place.

A host of activities kept youngsters busy and refreshments and snacks were available courtesy of the volunteer recreation committee and community members.
