- Just advising Sault Tridents Underwater Hockey is cancelled tonight at the John Rhodes due to the weather.
- Bulk Barn will be closed at 5 p.m. due to the weather and will be reopening tomorrow 8 a.m.
- The Centennial Library branch advises it will close at 6 p.m. UPDATE: Due to the inclement weather the Centennial Library will be closing at 5 p.m. this evening. We are looking forward to be open again 9 a.m. Friday morning.
- City Transit services are cancelled for the remainder of today. Stay tuned for updates regarding tomorrow’s operations.
- The Batchewana First Nation Christmas parade and memorial tree lighting set to take place tonight is cancelled due to weather conditions. The rescheduling date will be announced tomorrow.
-YMCA We will be closed for the remainder of the day and look forward to opening Friday morning at 5:30 a.m. with full operations at all sites. We appreciate that this is an inconvenience for those wanting to continue their fitness regime and for parents needing child care, but everyone's safety is our top priority.
- Sault Ste. Marie International (SSM IKD) All classes for tonight and the Christmas Party for tonight are cancelled due to weather.
- The local Vianet office has closed as of 1 p.m. and will re-open at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow. Tech support and customer service is still available by phone/email.
- We Are Not Alone Parent Support Group on Assistive Technology hosted by the Learning Disabilities Association will be cancelled this evening at Sault College due to weather and school closures. Stay safe and warm and we will see you at our January session.
- Community First Curling Centre is closed for the day, all leagues cancelled - business as usual tomorrow
- Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board advises its board office is also closed today. Schools will not be open this evening to any groups that use H-SCDSB facilities.

- Due to the weather the Canadian Red Cross at 475 Trunk Road is closing at 1 p.m. We will reopen tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m.
- Kick A Thon for Santa at Koong Joong Mu Sool Martial Arts has been rescheduled and will take place next Tuesday
- Sault Major hockey Association has cancelled all games and practices for Dec. 15
- The Country Way on Brock street will be closed today for the rest of the afternoon.

- Dr. Ismeil Amhalhal's office is closed for the day. The office will call patients who had been scheduled today to rebook their appointments.
- United Way of Sault Ste. Marie and District and Volunteer Sault Ste. Marie offices located at 7A Oxford Street will close at 1 p.m. today. We will resume our regular hours on Friday at 9 a.m.
- Due to weather as well as transportation closures, Group Health Centre has chosen to rebook all scheduled appointments after 12:30 p.m. today, and will close most of our services at that time. If you have an existing appointment, you should receive a call shortly to schedule an alternate appointment.
Scheduled procedures in Obstetrics/Gynaecology and Surgery will still proceed if patients are comfortable attending. Patients will be contacted directly to determine if they would prefer to reschedule. For those with prescription refill needs, the Group Health Centre Pharmacy will remain open until 4pm today.

Final exams have been rescheduled to Friday, Dec. 16, to be held at the same time and location as previously scheduled. Please monitor the LSSU website and social media sites for updates.
