Cardboard Loom Weaving
Date: Tuesday, March 11
Time: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Join the Sault Ste. Marie Museum this March Break and make woven art using a cardboard loom! Children will be guided through the process of weaving on a circular loom. This event is recommended for ages 6 and up. Programming will begin at 1:00pm; this event is included in the Cultural Corridor Pass or $10 per child at the door.
Pirate Treasure Hunt
Date: Thursday, March 13
Time: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Shwashbuckle your way through the Sault Museum on Thursday, March 11 from 10:00am – 12:00 pm at our Pirate Treasure Hunt! Children will discover the museum while looking for clues that lead to a pirate treasure chest; parents are able to enter in a draw to win an additional prize box! This event is included in the Cultural Corridor Pass, or $10 per child at the door. This event is sponsored by Arthur Funeral Home - Barton and Kiteley Chapel.
Ice Cream Science!
Date: Friday, March 14
Time: 1:30 p.m.– 3 p.m.
Ever wondered how ice cream used to be made before freezers? Join the Sault Ste. Marie Museum and learn how to make ice cream the old-fashioned way! Participants will get the chance to make their own ice cream and have it in a sundae once it has been prepared, all while learning about history and science. This event is included in the Cultural Corridor Pass, or $10 per child at the door.
