Residential fire remains under investigation

No injuries were reported

A residential fire in the 0-100 block of Grandview Ave. remains under investigation this afternoon.

In a release, Sault Se. Marie Fire Services said the fire started shortly before 11 a.m. Thursday in the basement area of the residence.

The fire was out before firefighters arrived at the scene.

The residence was ventilated and Enbridge Gas was also called to the scene.

There was smoke damage to the home, but no injuries were reported.
