Sault Police, Fire Services and at least two EMS ambulances were at the scene of a five-vehicle collision at Great Northern Road and Malabar Drive (near Starbucks) late Wednesday afternoon.

At least one person was taken to hospital, extent of injuries unknown at this point.

Traffic on Great Northern Road was passing by slowly, most motorists taking to the side roads to avoid delays.

The cause of the collision is unknown.
