Loyal SooToday.com reader Ron Bennett says he believes he knows what kind of bird this is and it's a heron, not a penguin.
"The photo of a Penguin like bird shown Wednessday June 26 , 2013 is what I believe to be a Black-Crowned Night-Heron of which I have observed for the last five years or so at the Francis H. Cleque hydro generating station tail race St. Mary's River," Bennett says.
We at SooToday.com think he may just be on to something.
What do our readers think?
Black-crowned night-heron?

Original story: 5:03 p.m.
A loyal SooToday.com reader submitted this photo of a bird spotted at the Sault waterfront that some suspect may be some type of penguin.
We at SooToday.com doubt that a penguin would stray this far north of its natural habitat, but we suppose anything is possible.
Any of our bird-loving readers know what this feathered friend might be?
