The 47th annual Bon Soo Winter Carnival kicked off with a bang last night at Bellevue Park with live entertainment, fireworks, free hot chocolate, and hordes and hordes of winter fun enthusiasts.
And of course, Mr. Bon Soo.
Expanding this year to an 11-day event, Bon Soo offers a variety of activities throughout the coming days, including ice slides, snowshoeing, a Soo Greyhound skate, dog-pulling contests, and the ever-popular polar bear swim.

Next Saturday, February 13, Bon Soo organizers are pleased to present stars of Beatlemania at the Essar Centre. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show is open to all ages. Tickets may be purchased for $20 each at the Essar Centre box office.
