42-year-old Grant Morden and 26-year-old Loretta Carey of 222 Wellington Steeet East are facing charges of theft under $5,000 after several pairs of socks and gloves and some shoes were taken from Sears at Station Mall.
They were released today with a return engagement in court on court on February 25. NOTE: Purloined socks described in this article probably don't look anything like the ToeToe® toesocks illustrated, available by clicking here.

SooToday.com is locally owned and operated, and has nothing to do with the Sault Star or Sault Evening News.
We're known for our fierce independence, incorrigible sense of humour and oddly podophobic reporters.
Our large and diverse readership has one thing in common: an interest in the very latest news from two great cities that straddle the Canada-U.S. border, sharing the name of Sault Ste. Marie (or 'Soo' for short), and beyond.
Collation of SooToday.com's server log files by the respected Urchin Analysis shows more than 64,000 visits per average weekday, with an average length of stay of nine minutes, 12 seconds and an average of 11.6 pages read per visit.
Almost three-quarters of a million SooToday.com pages are read each weekday.
