Firefighters douse early-morning garage fire

Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services responded to a garage fire Saturday morning in the city's east end.

Firefighters were called to the scene shortly after 7 a.m.

The homeowner noticed the fire while getting ready to take their kids to hockey practice.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
