Crimson Ridge house fire remains under investigation

Sault Fire Services say north-end dwelling had considerable damage after flames broke out in its attached garage Friday evening

A home in the 0-100 block of Crimson Ridge Drive is facing significant damages after a fire broke out in its attached garage on Friday night.

Sault Fire Services spokesperson Aaron Gravelle said crews responded to the incident shortly before 6 p.m. where they were directed to the attached garage area of the dwelling.

Flames and smoke were visible before crews contained and extinguished the fire, said Gravelle.

PUC Services and Enbridge Gas were both required at the scene.

Gravelle noted that there were no injuries to report, and the fire remains under investigation.

SooToday returned to the scene less than 24 hours after the fire. The garage’s main doors were already boarded up and work was being done on the roof.
