Bondar Pavilion the place to be for Canada Day festivities

Opening ceremonies kick off at 2 p.m., followed by entertainment, attractions — and of course, the annual fireworks display

If you're around town this holiday Monday, there are plenty of places to show off your red and white.

The city's official Canada Day festivities kick off at the Roberta Bondar Pavilion at 2 p.m., with opening ceremonies followed by entertainment and attractions throughout the day.

The annual fireworks display will begin at dusk.

Looking to take a dip? The John Rhodes pool is open for holiday hours (parent and child lane swim from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a public swim from 1:15 p.m. to 3 p.m.)

The Peter G. Manzo and V.E. Greco pools are also open from 1 to 7 p.m., weather permitting, as are the Bellevue Park and Manzo Park splash pads (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.)

Were you able to check out Poutine Feast this weekend at the downtown plaza? Today is your last chance, until 6 p.m.

You can find a full list HERE of every city service that's open and closed today.
