The White Pines Collegiate music department has compiled another videotaped Coffee House concert of original songs and covers - performed by the school’s Pine Tones group and other up and coming White Pines musicians - for the public to enjoy.
The concert video was recorded before new distancing and safety measures were put in place by Algoma Public Health (APH) and the Algoma District School Board (ADSB), said White Pines music teacher Greg MacLachlan in an email.
MacLachlan, along with fellow White Pines music teachers Hollie Filice and Aaron Dunn, expressed their appreciation for help given by Dustin Jones at Tidal Records and Mission Control Studios in producing the concert video.
“He came in with an array of mics and sound boards and recording gear that added that professional touch to our concert. He spent countless hours mixing and editing audio and visual material to make this event happen. He is an ardent supporter of the arts and music in Sault Ste. Marie, especially pertaining to young songwriters, and we are happy to have his support,” MacLachlan wrote.
The list of participating student musicians includes:
- Sarah Stadnisky (vocals)
- Jordyn Stadnisky (guitar and vocals)
- Rachel Niergarth (piano and vocals)
- Maddie McCabe (guitar and vocals)
- Allie Bouchard (guitar and vocals)
- Chloe Wyslocky (guitar and vocals)

- Rayna Bertelsen (percussion and drums)
