“For most of our lives the days pass waywardly, without meaning, without particular happiness or unhappiness. Then, like turning over a tapestry when you have only known the back of it, there is spread the pattern.”

Today we are thinking of our father and grandfather, Neil Strand, on the second anniversary of his death. The pattern of his life included much love, laughter and music. He is missed every day for his good advice, his kind smile, his great conversations, and his skilled whistling. Forever in our hearts, Jeff, Pla, Jenn, John, Daniel and James.
