Usually a 20 year anniversary is a happy milestone. But this anniversary means you are further and further away as the days go by. 20 years without hearing your laugh, seeing the twinkle in your eye, or feeling the comfort of your hugs. I worry I will forget your smell, your voice, your laugh. I am sad my children will never know you, never have a grandfather in you. Watch over them, keep them safe and know you are not forgotten.
