Climate Rally “Positive Climate Change Action in Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma”
Please come and join your neighbours and friends to be positively inspired about climate action happening in Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma.
A Climate Rally is being held on Friday, September 20th at 4:30 pm in Clergue Park in Sault Ste. Marie.
Hear how individuals and groups are making a difference in the fight against climate change. Speakers will include Emily Cormier, Sustainability Coordinator, City of Sault Ste. Marie and SooToday Community Builders Environmental Award recipient in 2023 and Dr. Jody-Lynn Rebek, Assistant Professor, Algoma University and co-founder of Water Wise.
There will also be an opportunity for rally attendees to talk with representatives of local environmental groups about their work and possible volunteer opportunities.
