GALLERY: Chocolate was in the air at downtown library today

Cast and crew from the upcoming local production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory stopped by for a special Saturday morning story time that included songs and crafts

A classic children's novel came to life this morning at the downtown library.

Some cast and crew from the upcoming local production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory stopped by the James L. McIntyre Centennial Library for a special story time that included songs and crafts — and a visit from Willy Wonka himself.

The final production of the year for the West End Theatre Project, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will run at the Sault Community Theatre Centre from Nov. 21 to 24.

Tickets can be purchased online or in person at the theatre box office. The full cast was announced in July.
