Break and enter: There was a break and enter in the 200 block of Goulais Avenue overnight. The front window of the residence was smashed out and a laptop computer taken.

Traffic accidents:  With nicer weather coming the sun shine seems to have brought back some bad driving habits.  Sault Ste. Marie Police have recorded 9 vehicle accidents between 9:20am and 3:15pm. 

Morning news

On March 4, 2014, at 7 p.m., patrol officers were called to a group home for an assault complaint. Officers learned that a 22-year-old had assaulted her support worker by pushing and scratching her. The victim’s injuries did not require medical attention. The accused was also found to be on probation with conditions not to physically interfere with her support staff. The accused has been charged with Assault and Breach of Probation. She will appear in bail court on March 5.

On March 4, 2014, at 9:10 p.m., patrol officers arrested and charged a 26-year-old female with three counts of Breach of Probation. The female was on a probation order that related to a domestic violence conviction from 2013. She will now appear in court on April 7.
